Bio: The Dutch artist Alvin Silvrants ...... always connected to art. When he was a young boy, he began copying illustrations from European comics such as Lucky Luke, Asterix and Suske & Wiske. Even at a young age, his parents and teachers always praised him for his drawing talent and encouraged him to further develop his skills to earn a living as a commercial illustrator later. As a teenager, he began discovering American comics like Spiderman and X-men. When the time came to go to university, he earned degrees in “Commercial Painting and Drawing” and in “Illustration and Graphic Design.” After working for ten years as an art director for several advertising agencies, he created his own design and illustration studio, “Hits-design.” He mainly designed visual elements and illustrated children's books. For his friends and family, he created paintings inspired by the Belgian artist Don Ken and everyone encouraged him to sell paintings to the general public. Thus, in 2017, two art galleries contacted him to create a few pieces. After being successfully recognized by these art professionals, he decided to start painting full-time and become a professional pop/street artist. Since then, his art has sold worldwide, from the Netherlands to Belgium and across Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Norway, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong and the United States. Using mainly spray paint and acrylics, his art includes elements of the world of advertising and pop culture (sexy). Inspired by beautiful women in general, artists (Pop) such as Roy Lichtenstein, Don Ken, comic book authors like John Romita Sr, Morris, Hergé, Daniel Henrotin (Dany) and Frank Cho, his style is rooted in personal philosophy, freedom of expression (sometimes a little sexy) combined with the innocence of childhood.
