Very rare first edition of this magnificent work by Adolphe de Lattre on the customs and clothing of the people of Nice.

A. De Lattre, Costumes of Nice drawn from nature, Paris, Lemercier Printing House, 1850.

PP. (II) + 10 color lithographed plates protected by tissue papers. Complete.

Specimen with cards in generally good condition, with sparse foxing.

Contemporary publisher's binding in green cloth throughout, with gold embellishments on the spine and covers, showing slight wear but well preserved overall. Endpapers present.
