Guy Cantin (XX) - Paysages

French decorative ensemble comprising two original works signed Guy Cantin (French artist active in the 1990s), created in the 1990s, as well as a small unsigned complementary oil in the same artistic spirit.

The lot consists of:

– "Paysage de Cénevières" / oil on linen canvas / March 1995 / signed and dated / very good condition with three slight flakes visible, nothing serious (see photos). Large format 72 x 52 cm (painting), 84 x 62 cm (with frame)

– "Sur les borde de la Mayenne" / watercolor on linen canvas / Sept 1997 / signed and dated / very good condition with small frame flaws (see photos) 36 x 28 cm (watercolor), 58 x 48 (with frame)

– View inspired by the Breton village of Saint-Suliac, listed among the Plus Beaux Villages de France / oil on linen / 1995 / unsigned / double framing / 34 x 26 cm (painting) / 37 x 29 (1st frame) / 49 x 42 cm / very good condition / added as a harmonious complement to the ensemble

The works present a peaceful and decorative atmosphere typiquement française, between landscape and the play of light. The set has a beautiful aesthetic coherence and makes a very nice wall lot for a classic interior, chic countryside or warm artistic decoration.

Good general condition with slight signs of time compatible with the age of the works. Frames and dimensions visible in the photographs.
