Pierre & Etienne Bachmann Genève Régulateur Goliath pocket watch, reference 44, from 1850–1900, with a hand-wound movement, steel case, 70 mm diameter, weighing 200 g, in good vintage condition and in working order.

An impressive and rare large "Goliath" pocket watch, crafted by the renowned Geneva makers Pierre & Etienne Bachmann. With a diameter of no less than 70 mm, it is an imposing specimen, originally intended for travelers or as an exceptionally precise "Régulateur" (reference clock).
Details:
Dial: White enamel dial in excellent condition with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minute track. Features a detailed decentralised running seconds at the 6 o’clock position. Elegant gilt "Louis XV" hands.
Movement: High-quality Swiss mechanical movement with anchor escapement. The movement is stamped and in neat, working condition. Time-setting via the pusher next to the crown.
Case: The case is finished in "Acier Garanti" (steel) with a gorgeous dark patina (Gunmetal finish). The inside of the cover is fully signed by the makers "Pierre & Etienne Bachmann".
Condition: In good vintage condition with normal signs of aging on the case appropriate to its age. The enamel dial is very well preserved.
A superb collectible for enthusiasts of large watches and Geneva horology.
