Vase - Cobalt Blue Satin Glass

Art Nouveau Cobalt Blue Satin Glass Vase with Applied "Tadpole" Decoration - c. 1900. Austro-Hungarian Empire / Bohemia (likely Wilhelm Kralik Sohn or similar Bohemian/Hungarian glassworks from the period). Acid-etched/satin (frosted) finish on the exterior, creating a velvety, tactile surface. Hot-applied vertical trails with teardrop terminals (often referred to as "tadpole" decoration) on the sides. Ground and polished top rim. Deeply ground and polished pontil mark on the base.

Very good antique condition, showing authentic signs of age, handling, and manual production. The satin texture is well-preserved, and the hot-applied blue decoration is fully intact. Minor flea bites (tiny micro-chips) are present along the inner edge of the ground top rim and around the outer edge of the polished base ring, consistent with age and use.
