Artist’s note:
In The Dame, I sought to create a female presence built through tensions — between control and fragmentation, between volume and surface. Color becomes structure: luminous yellow shapes the form, while deep green both anchors and destabilizes it at the same time. The gesture of the hand and the position of the head suggest a suspended, almost introspective moment.

Condition: Excellent. Recently completed, with no restorations. Minor surface variations and visible brushwork are inherent to the technique and contribute to the character of the piece.
