Guy Marineau was the photographer for all fashion shows, from the 1970s, for haute couture and notably for Yves Saint Laurent, then, in the 1980s, for the early fashion-show presentations of these young designers who made that decade a fireworks display.
He was a correspondent for Women's Wear and for Vogue US.
A lover and reporter of parties, personalities and the Parisian nightlife, which today has earned him a very beautiful collection of photographic archives spanning about thirty years, he was one of the very few photographers allowed at the Palace. He continues to "cover" fashion shows and fashion events.
