Guy Marineau was the photographer for all fashion shows, from the 1970s, for haute couture and notably for Yves Saint Laurent, then, in the 1980s, for the early fashion-show performances of these young designers who made that decade an explosion of color. He was a correspondent for Women's Wear and US Vogue.

Lover of parties, celebrities and the Paris nightlife, which earns him today a very beautiful collection of photographic archives spanning about thirty years, he was one of the very few photographers authorized at the Palace. He continues to cover fashion shows and fashion events.
