Ad Mesnard Bordeaux - 1850-1900

Ad Mesnard pocket watch unmarked as to gold content.
Verified by a jeweler as 18k gold for the case and outer cover.
It does not bear the usual 18k gold hallmark, but there are visible punches (see inner case photo) that could be the eagle head used in France in the 1800s.
It should be dated to the late 19th to early 20th century.
White enamel dial with Roman numerals and Arabic numerals.
The dial shows some fine cracks as visible in the photos.
Back of the case decorated with raised floral engravings and 18 small stones set.
Inner lid bears the Ad Mesnard Bordeaux mark.
Good condition with some scratches and light dents along the edge of the case visible in the photos.
Various inscriptions engraved inside the case.

Diameter 28 mm, weight about 19.6 g.
Cautiously estimated 18k gold content at about 22% of total weight.
