Description from the seller
“The Color of Desire” is a work where everyday reality unfolds on multiple planes, as if light itself decided to reveal its secrets. The bottle, the fruit, and the bowl transform into vibrant forms that interweave, creating a geometric landscape full of energy and rhythm.
In the center of the composition, the apple emerges as a clear symbol of desire: fragmented, luminous, almost suspended between temptation and the purity of color. Its presence introduces a subtle tension, an emotional pulse that runs through the entire work and connects it with a universal symbolic tradition.
Each fragment breathes color. Each line sustains a precise balance. The scene, seemingly simple, becomes a visual game inviting the viewer to discover layers, transparencies, and tensions. The result is a contemporary still life that blends tradition and modernity with a powerful presence.
An ideal piece for collectors seeking impact, personality, and a visual language that does not go unnoticed. A work that captures the gaze and holds it.

About the artist
I am a visual artist with more than 25 years of artistic practice, during which I have explored diverse techniques and supports, including drawing, photography, animation, and video installation. For me, painting is more than a medium of expression: it is its own language, a path to convey emotions, concepts, and perspectives through color and form. Each of my works is unique and irreproducible, born from an intuitive and authentic artistic process.
In my most recent work I am exploring a vibrant and very personal painting, where I combine imagined landscapes, still lifes, and everyday scenes with a geometric and color-filled language. I am interested in playing with light, shapes, and perspectives to create images that move between the real and the symbolic. These works arise from the desire to build spaces that invite calm viewing, to discover details, and to let oneself be carried by the energy of color.
My work has participated in exhibitions, biennials, and international fairs such as the Havana Biennial, the Curitiba Biennial, the Mercosur Biennale, the Asunción Biennial, the Berlin Art Biennale, and fairs such as ARCO, among others. It is also part of public and private collections such as the Paraná State Institute of Art, the Havana Cultura Collection, and the Benetton Collection.
