Description from the seller
OMAR Single Malt Whisky (Bourbon Type) is the lighter and more floral counterpart in the Nantou Distillery's core range. Unlike the Sherry version, this whisky is matured almost exclusively in American oak barrels that previously held bourbon, giving it a silkier and sweeter profile.Key CharacteristicsABV: Usually bottled at 46% to preserve its aromatic richness.Composition: While focused on bourbon casks, the distillery sometimes adds a small amount of sherry-matured whisky to enhance complexity and body in the finish.Flavor Profile:Nose: Very floral and fresh, with dominant notes of white flowers, vanilla, honey, and tropical fruits like mango and ripe pineapple.Palate: Silky and full-bodied texture, with flavors of caramel, toffee, orange peel, and a touch of spices like cinnamon.Finish: Medium to long, smooth and sweet, with a presence of malt and oak.
