Claudio Rolfi, born in Genoa in 1960. From his early works one notices the great fascination that Italian art of the 20th century has been able to exert on him, with masterful influences from Casorati, Morandi, Carrà and de Chirico. In his forty years of artistic career there are more than seventy solo exhibitions and countless artistic events, including TV programs entirely dedicated to him. The Maestro Rolfi’s artistic work has been discussed by the most important newspapers and television and radio stations. Among the most notable events is the grand exhibition Centoeventigiorni held in Santa Maria degli Angeli, Rome, in 2002, inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Franca Ciampi and Walter Veltroni; the exhibition at the Dopmiziano Museum in Rome; the solo show at Mondadori in Milan; the exhibition at the Palazzo della Cultura in Reggio Calabria; and the BAM Baveno Arte Maggiore presented by Vittorio Sgarbi.
The painter’s works have been used for about 6 years as set designs for Rai 3’s GEO program.
His works are present in many Italian collections, in the United States, Japan, Canada and throughout the rest of Europe.
