Daniel Buetti (1957) is an internationally known Swiss artist, famous for his photographic, sculptural, and multimedia works. In his contemporary art, Buetti engages intensely with themes such as consumption, beauty, identity, and transience. He became particularly well known through his manipulated fashion photographs, in which he deconstructs glamour images and questions societal ideals. Daniel Buetti’s works move between photography, installation, light art, and object art and have been shown worldwide in renowned museums, galleries, and international exhibitions. The artist lives and works in Zurich.
