Horst Hahn (1937) is a German photographer, restorer and collector, known especially for his impressive travel and documentary photographs. His photographic work focuses on Africa, the Middle East and extraordinary cultural landscapes, which he captures with great documentary precision and artistic sensitivity. Hahn combines classic reportage photography with a calm, authentic visual language and is considered one of the important representatives of German travel photography. In addition to his photographic work, he worked for many years as a restorer and was active for art and photography history. Horst Hahn lives and works in Cologne.
