An exceptional and highly collectible Victorian Majolica serving platter by the prestigious British manufacturer Minton. This piece is a prime example of the 19th-century fascination with marine life, featuring a large, realistically modelled crab in high relief as the central focus, surrounded by intricate shell and seaweed motifs.

The platter is finished with Minton’s signature rich, lead-based glazes, displaying vibrant ochre, deep greens, and the iconic "Majolica blue" that collectors worldwide seek out.
