This work in the 80 × 80 × 4.5 cm format is created on a wide, high-quality canvas and moves between painting and sculpture.
In the light, the surface reveals a clear presence. Depending on the incidence of light and the viewing angle, the texture and depth change; individual layers become more pronounced. The work appears spatial and physical – perception arises while walking, standing, and lingering.
Frequency SILVER FLOW — Sculpture of Light, Structure & Presence
Frequency SILVER FLOW is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist, I transfer rhythm, pause, and repetition into a visual structure.
The composition follows a reduced order. Repetitions create tensions comparable to held notes, while subtle color shifts mark transitions.
Work details:
Title: Frequency SILVER FLOW
Size: 80 × 80 cm × 4.5 cm
Technique & Materials: Acrylic paint and heavy-gel texture paste on canvas, built up in layers with various spatulas. The pigments form elevations and overlays with calm, pulsating tension.
Only the highest quality materials are used: acrylic paints from Amsterdam Expert, texture pastes from Liquitex – all produced locally in Austria.
Frame: Wide support frame made of solid natural wood (included in the price).
(Black decorative frame not included)
Images: The pictures were photographed under professional studio lighting. Light is essential for the color play of the works. The artist recommends placing the works under direct or indirect light to fully bring out the color play and make the pieces feel alive.
To foster a better understanding of the works and the interaction of light, I encourage buyers to view the videos of the different works on Instagram at @sarah.schwarzl.art.
Signature & Authenticity: Hand-signed on the back. Delivered with a signed certificate of authenticity.
Location: Directly from the artist’s studio in Vienna.
