Ruggero Salvatore - Giallo, limone e gin

In the last two years I mix three different shades of realism to generate an absolutely personal and innovative style in which even themes of contemporary living blend and blur, in some cases approaching the atmospheres of Metaphysics-

The canvas is applied to a black board that serves as the support and the frame of the painting.
The board, hand-smoothed and painted black by the artist, lends elegance to the artwork, making it a unique handcrafted object in its entirety.
The authenticity of the work is written in my own hand on the back of the board.

In "Giallo, limone e gin", the shadows cast by the hats create a zone of privacy and complicity, a "not said" that envelops the couple’s toast.
