The work represents the transition of the piece from the exterior wall to the inner space of buildings. What is born on the street, in the urban and public context, is transferred inside buildings, houses or museums, completely changing environment and meaning. In this case, the most interesting wall fragment is selected and cut, the one on which the street artist had carried out the exterior intervention. The fragment is then detached from the original street context and transformed into an autonomous object. Once cut, this piece of wall can be moved and placed indoors: in homes, in buildings, in museums or in other structures. In this way the work changes environment and function, moving from the public and everyday space of the street to a private or institutional space, where it is preserved and displayed as a true artistic object. All of this represents a kind of imagined reconstruction by the artist, reflecting on the process of moving the work from the urban context to the domestic or museum setting.

The natural imperfections, marks, and dents of the materials are not defects, but an integral part of the work: they attest to its urban life and reinforce its identity typical of true Street Art.

The work is delivered ready to be hung. At the client’s request, it is possible to proceed later with framing.
