Max Biaggi is an Italian motorcycle rider, famous for his talent and for his difficult relationships with the press, fellow riders, and members of his own technical team. He was champion of Italy in 125cc (1990) and European champion in 250cc (1991). He debuted in the World Championship in 1992 and competed there until 2005. He participated in the 250cc (1992-1997), 500cc (1998-2001) and MotoGP (2002-2005) categories. He rode Aprilia (1992; 1994-1996), Honda (1993; 1997-1998; 2003-2005) and Yamaha (1999-2002) motorcycles. He achieved four consecutive titles in the 125cc class (1994-1997) and won 42 Grands Prix (29 in 250cc and 13 in the premier category). He retired on November 7, 2012 after his last title.
Biaggi has been champion of 250cc four times (1994, 1995, 1996 and 1997) and 2 in Superbikes (2010 and 2012).
