Edward WESSON (1910-1983)

Edward Wesson R.S.M.A, R.B.A, R.I
1910 - 1983
Born in Blackheath, South London. He is best known for his distinctive style of water colour paintings.

Being mostly self-taught he perfected his style before exhibiting.He became a member of the Royal Society of Marine Artists, the Royal Society of British Artists and the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour.

Towards the end of his career his painting classes and demonstrations were exceedingly popular.

His work remains greatly admired and highly collectable to this day.
