Description from the seller
A luminous sculpture created through an organic interweaving of tangled iron wire, pierced by 120 LED light points that animate its inner structure. On the metal weave, hemp fiber paper pulp was cast, which during the drying and oxidation process generated an irregular and vibrant surface, rich in material stratifications and translucencies.
The light, filtering through shells of solid form and voids, builds a shifting pattern of shadows and reflections, turning the sculpture into a living, atmospheric presence. Irregular inserts of gold leaf further amplify the luminous perception, creating precious glints that emerge from the raw material.
The project arises from the encounter between two seemingly antithetical elements: iron — cold, rigid and structural — and paper — soft, warm and fragile. From their fusion a new expressive material takes shape, organic and metamorphic, in which the hardness of the metal is progressively softened by the presence of the fiber, while the paper gains strength and plastic tension.
The structure is self-supporting and is prepared for wall installation. The LED lighting is powered via USB output, allowing versatile placement in both domestic and exhibition environments. It is shipped in rigid packaging and comes with an authenticity certificate.
