CQFD, Technicolor Thrower, a unique original mixed‑media artwork in the pop art style, created in 2026, 45 × 55 cm, multicolour, hand-signed, France, sold directly by the artist, sold with frame, with certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
Artist: CQFD - Professional Artist, Paris
Title: Technicolor Thrower
If Lego Thrower fit into the greyness of the walls of our neighborhoods, this new work propels the famous character into an alternative, vibrant, and saturated dimension. An explosion of dopamine!
Here, the black silhouette with the stencil no longer fights against the concrete, but seems to emerge from a nebulous of fluorescent colors.
The artist abandons here collages and urban texture for a spray-painting approach that is more aerial and dynamic. Projections of acid yellow, bright pink, and sky blue create an aura of pure energy around the figure. The contrast is striking: the opaque black of the LEGO rioter acts as a visual anchor in the midst of a chaos of joyful colors.
In this version, the bouquet of flowers no longer symbolizes only peace, but a form of creative ecstasy. The throwing gesture becomes a celebration. By placing this iconic character on a background evoking both the Hippie movement and rave culture, the artist reminds us that rebellion can also be a party, a liberation of the imagination through color.
A work that does not merely occupy space, but illuminates it with its visual power and radical optimism.
Unique and original work, sold with its certificate of authenticity.
