Description from the seller
In the painting, all colors, except one, repeat six times. We thus have that the color decomposition method applied to six-term polynomials, often associated with innovative teaching paths, as explored by the author, can represent a visual strategy to facilitate learning of complex groupings. The use of colors reduces cognitive load and, instead of treating the polynomial as a "black box", color immediately highlights which terms can form partial groupings. The grouping of six terms is often the sum of several strategies, and color helps to maintain mental order during decomposition. In short, the method is an excellent bridge to abstraction, and in that sense "Color Decomposition for 6" by Romano Mosconi is a work that proposes a "vibrant interpretation" of reality, transforming geometric decomposition into a new harmonious order rather than chaos. According to critics, the decomposition performed by Mosconi does not generate disorder, but structures reality into a new form of harmony. The work thus testifies to the maturity reached by Mosconi, capable of transforming abstract concepts into images of strong visual impact. The use of acrylic color to obtain flat and neat applications highlights a precise and meticulous graphical approach. The work, part of a series of experiments, transforms abstract concepts into images of great poetic force, bearing witness to the artist’s maturity. This is how "Color Decomposition for 6" fits into Mosconi’s artistic research path, also known as the "painter-economist", a path often centered on geometric and chromatic decomposition of the form. In summary, "Color Decomposition for 6" can be described as a work in which geometric fragmentation merges with a studied color pairing, finally creating a visual structure that is balanced and modern. The painting is ready to be hung and is provided with a certificate of authenticity. Please note that the colors in the images may differ slightly due to differing lighting conditions. The painting was created without a brush and the colors were applied with spray acrylic paint and indelible markers. The painting made on cardboard 50 x 70 in 2026 is mounted in a floater frame and is dated, signed, and titled on the front.
