Description from the seller

Charming lidded decorative trinket jar in pale pink opaline glass, mounted with brass-toned ormolu-style fittings and raised on an ornate three-footed stand. The domed lid is beautifully hand-painted with a detailed bird motif among branches and foliage, highlighted with gilt accents, while the body is adorned with delicate floral sprigs and decorative gilt detailing.

The soft pink opaline glass gives the piece a refined, romantic appearance, complemented by the warm aged brass mount. Designed as both decorative and functional, it can be used as a vanity jar, jewelry box, dresser pot, or small keepsake container.

A highly decorative antique-style object with strong late 19th- to early 20th-century Victorian or French decorative arts influence, ideal for collectors of opaline glass and decorative vanity wares.

Condition
Good vintage condition overall, with visible age-related wear:
• Light wear and rubbing to the hand-painted and gilt decoration
• Age-related patina and wear to the brass-toned mount and stand
• Minor surface wear consistent with age and handling
• No obvious major cracks or chips visible in the provided photos
