Very elegant pair of opaline vases painted and gilded from the Napoléon III era, dating from the second half of the 19th century.

The vases feature a rich Romantic polychrome decoration depicting young ladies in pastoral landscapes, framed by delicate gold motifs and wide Bordeaux friezes highlighted with fine gold.

The scenes are finely executed, as are the rich gilding, offering a beautiful decorative effect.

The two opalines are in good condition for objects that are about 150 years old.

Très élégante paire de vases en opaline peinte et dorée d'époque Napoléon III, datant de la seconde moitié du XIX eme siècle. 

Les vases présentent un riche décor romantique polychrome figurant de jeunes élégantes dans des paysages champètres, encadré de délicats motifs dorés et de larges frises bordeaux rehaussées à l'or fin. 

Les scènes finement exécutées ainsi que les riches dorures offrent un bel effet décoratif

Les deux opalines sont en bel état pour des objets qui ont environ 150 ans.
