Alberto Nodolini "Untitled" 1975 Oil on canvas 80x100 cm. He graduated from the Paolo Toschi Art Institute in Parma (graphic section) and attended the painting faculty at the Brera Academy in Milan. He worked as an assistant to editor Franco Maria Ricci with the role of graphic designer for two years, and in 1964 he was hired as an assistant to the artistic direction for the Vogue magazine by the Condé Nast publishing group.
In the early 1960s he won the San Fedele International Prize for young painters, organized by the San Fedele Cultural Foundation of Milan. In 1969/70 he oversaw the restyling of the bi-monthly periodical "Confezione Italiana", and from 1971 to 1994 he became art director of the Condé Nast group and oversaw its periodicals (Vogue, L'Uomo Vogue, Casa Vogue, Vogue Gioiello, Vogue Pelle, Vogue Bambino,
