Title: Liquid Gold
Year: 2026
Technique: Oil on canvas
Dimensions of the painted area: 60 × 50 cm
The canvas includes an additional white border of about 5 cm on each side, not included in the indicated measurements, designed to facilitate possible framing or mounting.
The painting depicts a contemporary female portrait, where the expressive intensity of the face combines with a free, tactile painting gesture. The figure, captured in a moment of surrender and introspection, emerges from a dark background pierced with drips and gold accents that amplify depth and dynamism.
The warm skin tones, contrasted with deep blacks and luminous brushstrokes, create a strong visual impact, while the golden reflections introduce a vibrant, almost emotional light. The balance between realism and abstraction recalls a modern painting language capable of evoking sensuality, elegance and inner strength.
In person, one can fully appreciate the richness of the color stratifications and the oil surface’s materiality, elements that are only partially perceptible in photography.
