Our standards:
- Each bonsai is shipped with a sample pack of our favored organic long-term bonsai fertilizer.
- To determine trunk width we place the measuring instrument at half height between the root collar and the first branch (see example photo). In the case of multiple trunks the widest one is chosen.
- All our trees are planted in a substrate mix specially developed by us.
- Wherever possible, we reuse old packaging for shipping, for the sake of the environment.
- The trees are watered before shipping, protected from drying out, and securely fixed in the outer carton.
- Shipping is insured.
- Service providers are commissioned who state that they normally deliver the goods within max. 4 business days.
- We ship on the following Monday after receipt of payment on Catawiki to avoid weekend delivery delays.
