Our Standards:
- Each bonsai is delivered with a sample pack of our preferred organic long-term bonsai fertilizer.
- To determine trunk width, we place the measuring instrument at mid-height between the root collar and the first branch (see example image). If there are multiple trunks, the widest one is chosen.
- All our trees are planted in a substrate mix developed specifically by us.
- Where possible, we reuse old packaging for shipping, for the sake of the environment.
- The trees are watered before shipping, protected against drying out, and securely fixed in the outer carton.
- Shipping is insured.
- We engage service providers who state they normally deliver within up to 4 business days.
- We ship on the following Monday after payment is received on Catawiki to avoid weekend delivery delays.
