Description from the seller
Tarot Universel — Arthur E. Waite 1910 — Fabbri Editions / Lo Scarabeo — 2000-2002.
Very elegant modern Tarot deck inspired by the famous Rider-Waite-Smith designed by Arthur Edward Waite in 1910, here in a European edition published by Fabbri Editions / Lo Scarabeo in the early 2000s.
The box features superb iconography faithful to Waite's original tarot, with the emblematic illustrations in bold, bright colors, immediately recognizable by enthusiasts of esotericism, cartomancy, and symbolic illustration.
This particularly interesting multilingual edition reprints the card titles in several Latin languages (Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and French according to the card), giving it a publishing charm specific to Lo Scarabeo productions of that period.
The lot includes the complete deck of illustrated cards, the original “Tarot Universel” box,
the accompanying sheet from the period.
The deck retains the iconic Major Arcana: The Fool, Death, The Wheel of Fortune, The Devil, Justice, The Chariot,
The Lovers, The Tower, The Moon, etc.
As well as the Minor Arcana richly illustrated in the Rider-Waite tradition.
Very good overall condition. Cards are very clean with colors very fresh and little handled. The box shows minor wear and scuffing on the corners and edges, visible in photos. Overall very presentable for a collection, esoteric use, or bibliophilic decoration.
Fabbri / Lo Scarabeo editions 2000-2002.
Arthur E. Waite, 1910, Divinatory esoteric Tarot.
European multilingual edition.
The photos are an integral part of the description.
