Sergio Zampieri - La pianista

Beautiful original unpublished work created by the contemporary painter Sergio Zampieri (Rome, 1968).

The Pianist, part of the series "Le Musiciste" by painter Sergio Zampieri, is a work that fuses the musical gesture with materiality. The pianist figure, painted in oil, abandons itself in an intense pose, while the background and the floor, enriched with acrylic pastes in gold, bronze and copper, vibrate with reflections. In this work, Zampieri captures the ecstasy of sound through matter, inviting the viewer to perceive music not only with the eyes but with every sense.

The final effect, as can be seen from the photographs, is the result of a very material work in iridescences with a play of light and shadow that morphs according to the position of the light source.
