Miaz presents the original work in modeling clay and acrylic paint "Apparent Density" 20 x 30 cm hand-signed on the back, created in 2025. Shipped directly from the artist with certificate of authenticity.
This work is realized through the layering of modeling clay and plaster; it presents itself as a material labyrinth that plays with sensory deception. The title itself anticipates the visual paradox: a structure that exudes the force of a static monolith, yet hides a dynamic and light nature.
The Material Contrast: the protruding volumes and rough surfaces catch the light, creating a lattice of solids and voids. The irregular arrangement of the pieces breaks the rigidity of the grid, giving the whole composition a vibrant, almost moving rhythm. The color choice, shifted toward metallic and heavy tones, gives the work an aura of solid grandeur; the eye perceives the gravity of lead or iron, creating tension between the physical reality of the support and its aesthetic rendering.
An invitation to explore the paths of this labyrinth where geometric rigor fuses with the unpredictability of the creative gesture: an architecture of thought that interrogates our perception of reality.

Miaz identifies with Informal Art, Abstract Art, and Surrealism. Her influences have deep roots in Dalí’s works: exploring the subconscious, obsessions, psychoses, and dream visions. In exploring the boundaries between painting and sculpture of Fontana, the manipulation of matter and the vision in which matter is the very subject of the work; the reliefs and tactile depths of Burri’s canvases and Bonalumi’s three-dimensionality.
A Milanese, versatile artist who experiments and investigates by extending the fine line between material painting and sculpture, exploring the three-dimensional depth of the artwork. A continuous search for languages that often uses humble, poor, and discarded materials, transforming mass into a new form with new boundaries, creating spaces and tactile and visual sensory effects.
