ORIGINAL EDITION of this sought-after work on ancient Egypt, its manners, its customs, its history. It is by Jacques-Joseph Champollion, called Champollion-Figeac (1778-1867), elder brother of the man who unlocked the meaning of hieroglyphs, Jean-François.
