Petrography: (A. Irving, UWS and J. Boesenberg, BrownU) Fresh monomict breccia composed of lithic intergranular clasts (exhibiting some variation in grainsize) plus related crystalline debris in a sparse fine grained matrix. Major minerals are exsolved pigeonite and calcic plagioclase together with accessory unexsolved pigeonite, silica polymorph, fayalite, ilmenite, chromite, troilite and merrillite.
Geochemistry: Low-Ca pyroxene host (Fs59.5-63.4Wo1.6-3.8, FeO/MnO = 31-33, N = 7), augite exsolution lamellae (Fs26.2-27.8Wo42.9-43.5, FeO/MnO = 30-31, N = 4), plagioclase (An83.4-90.5Or0.9-0.2, N = 6), fayalite (Fa80.6, FeO/MnO = 44).
