Description from the seller
Direct from the gallery "D uli - Arts"
This artwork is from the series "Homage to Yves Klein"
Yves Klein was, along with Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons, one of the co-founders of Pop Art.
His unforgettable "Blue Quadrat" with the most beautiful and intense blue I have ever seen.
All objects were handmade by me in painstaking handwork.
Parts of the handwork are visible, which underscores the uniqueness of each object
Hand-signed
Ultramarine blue pigments that were produced in an elaborate mixture absorb light.
The darker the room, the more intensely the blue glows because it absorbs the remaining light
Hand-signed
Elephant is approx. 20/15/10 cm in ultramarine blue matte on a black base
My artworks are presented at art fairs such as Cologne, Dresden, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Munich, Monaco, Strasbourg, Lyon...
My Pop Art connects art and everyday life.
An elementary feature of Pop Art is the often trivial objects known from daily life, from popular culture, media and advertising.
The motifs used are ripped from their original context, altered by me, and thus given a new life as "art objects"
