Description from the seller
-Esty-
The artist Hestela Charbonnier develops a painterly inquiry that moves between the floral world and the figurative dimension, creating a continuous dialogue between nature and the human being. Her work ranges from botanically charged compositions full of energy and matter to portraits and figures in which a deep emotional sensitivity emerges.
In floral paintings, color is the absolute protagonist: dynamic brushstrokes, textural layering and luminous contrasts transform the flower into a symbol of vitality, transformation and fragility. The shapes expand on the canvas with an instinctive yet deliberate gesture, giving life to intense and captivating compositions.
In figurative works, however, the artist explores interiority through postures, gazes and suspended atmospheres. The figures are never mere representations, but become silent narratives, rich in emotion and psychological depth.
A common element to both inquiries is the attention to material and color as primary expressive tools. Whether it is a flower in full bloom or a figure immersed in their thoughts, every work reflects a tension between energy and delicacy, between gesture and introspection
Please note that each canvas has extra white borders of 4/5 cm on each side
