This work belongs to the series "Antropomorfo," where fragments of the human figure mingle with organic-type parts. This circular-format painting presents a central organic form, detailed with intricate lines suggesting anatomical structures. The grayscale and white palette creates a sculptural volume, emerging from an ethereal background in desaturated greenish and reddish tones. The piece, titled "Antropomorfo III," explores the complexity of the biological with precise execution and a subtle texture that invites close observation.

Carlos Asensio was born in Castellón in 1986. At an early age he began his formal training under the tutelage of Cuban artist Amaury Suárez.

He holds a Doctorate in Fine Arts, with a Magna Cum Laude distinction, and possesses a Master’s in Artistic Production from Valencia Polytechnic University. He has also completed a Studio Program at the Berlin Art Institute where he received lessons from renowned artists such as Bernhard Martin, Larissa Fassler, Nikola Röthemeyer, and Various & Gould. His research work has led him to participate in international academic conferences and to publish in humanities journals such as Human Review or Peter Lang.

Among his notable achievements are several solo exhibitions, including at the Tomás y Valiente Art Center in Fuenlabrada, the Municipal Museum of Albacete, and the Centro 14 in Alicante. Regarding group shows, he has exhibited nationally and internationally. In the collective exhibition Ciclamen for the Léucade Gallery in Murcia, a collaborative project at the DXIX Projects space in Fort Collins, in two editions of GlogauAIR Open Studios, or the BAAM#3 at Monopol Berlin. The itinerant exhibition Atlas del Arte Español carried out at the Exhibition Hall of the Usera Municipal Board, the Mauro Muriendas Hall in Torrelavega, and the O Vello Cárcere Cultural Center in Lugo. Various exhibitions with the Infinity Art project at fairs such as the Affordable Art Fair in Amsterdam, Art Madrid, or Estampa in Madrid. The 2019_n3 collective show at Piramidón Centre D´Art Contemporani in Barcelona, the Art Spring 2019 event in Berlin, six editions of Marte International Contemporary Art Fair in Castellón, the III Biennial of Open City Arts in Valencia, or the II Call for La New Fair in Madrid.

Additionally, some of his works are present in important private collections such as the Museo Europeo de Arte Moderno and Piramidón Centre D´Art Contemporani in Barcelona, the Museo Arte Contemporanea Sicilia in Catania, and public institutions such as the Museu de la Ciutat de Castelló. On a private level, his work is present in collections in Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Greece, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, and the United States.
