B. Morah’s original acrylic on canvas titled Bosque Ingrávido 112 XXL, a 100 x 120 cm landscape in surreal Magritte-inspired imagery, signed by hand and produced in 2026, sold directly from the artist, unframed and unstretched.
Description from the seller
INGRAVID FOREST 112 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism.
This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible into a single vision. In “Ingravíd Forest,” trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that ties them to the ground. The landscape becomes the stage for the improbable: a forest that is not sustained by the laws of physics, but by the rules of imagination.
The reference to Magritte is not accidental: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the everyday becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air force us to rethink the concept of the organic and the stable, while the chromatic play —with electric blues, incandescent reds, and deep shadows— intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere.
This series poses essential questions: What happens when we take weight away from nature? Can loftiness reveal another dimension of the landscape, one more emotional than physical? “Ingravíd Forest” is both a metaphor and a provocation, a visual liberation act that challenges logic to reveal a new poetic space.
“Ingravíd Forest” by itself already evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only physics but also our perception of what a forest should be.
