Description from the seller
- Limited edition of the work "Born with the Force" created by the artist SKE.
- Numbering 12/100
- The artist's note: "Born with the Force. Even beneath Vader's helmet, hope whispers."
"Born with the Force" blends the dark codes of the Empire with the pure innocence of childhood. A little girl, wearing a Dark Vader mask on her head, reaches out toward a blazing red star — a stylized echo of the mythical Death Star. Around her, the war machines advance, but she alone still seems to believe in the power of dreams.
Between engaged street art and homage to the Star Wars universe, this work reinterprets symbols of power to reveal a subtle truth: even at the heart of chaos, light persists in those who have not yet forgotten how to hope.
- Certificate of authenticity included.
- Publisher: Atelier MONTMARTRE FineArt.
- High-quality print on 300 g/m2 art paper for faithful color rendering and faithful reproduction of the original work.
- Format A3 (42x29.7 cm), very easy to frame.
- Careful and secure shipping (Silk paper + Tube + Cardboard)
- BIO ARTIST:
SKE is a self-taught French multidisciplinary artist who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic works.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with dual interpretation, marry the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE's market value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize at Urban Master (2023), then named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. Simultaneously, SKE also makes his mark in the digital art market, a major trend of the past two years, enhancing the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and explorations of textures characterize a style now essential.
SKE is undeniably an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Ranked & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
AN UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE's work is part of a prestigious lineage. His linework carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to reinterpret the Mona Lisa by da Vinci, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai's The Great Wave, or the deconstructed forms of Picasso to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr. Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates the icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the mythical Game Boy, to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), via Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style occasionally reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with the codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the aesthetics of "Hype": you encounter the sneaker universe (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textures that recall the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal for enriching a collection or bringing a dynamic touch to your space.
