The works are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which handles import and customs clearance, before being sent individually back to our collectors without any restraint. The transport cost includes all fees from the United States to your home.

If the artwork is damaged, you must refuse delivery and indicate the reason for the refusal on the delivery note, noting issues such as “broken,” “scratched,” “damaged,” or “folded.” If only the packaging is damaged but the contents are intact, you may accept the package. However, if both the packaging and the contents are damaged, you must refuse the package without hesitation. Note that if you accept the package without inspecting your purchase upon delivery, we cannot pursue compensation or replacement.

Regarding your right of withdrawal, we use DHL Express for the delivery of our artworks. Although this shipping method is costly, it is reliable. If you request a withdrawal, DHL fees will remain at your expense. You will be responsible for the DHL Express shipping costs, which are non-refundable. Only the price of the artwork will be refunded.

Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, gained fame in 2009 with his One Dollar sculptures, ranking that year among the top ten sculpture artists under 30 according to Artprice. In 2012, the New York publication Farameh named him as one of the fifty best contemporary artists, inspired by traditional American icons, in its book FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, during the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl for his impressive 2-meter bronze sculpture One Dollar, exhibited at the Grand Palais.

Karl’s artistic journey began at the age of 7 with collages, encouraged by his meeting with sculptor César Baldaccini. He then turned to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro, while remaining passionate about collages. Artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to fuse his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at the Isy Brachot gallery in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition combining paintings, sculptures, and video elements at the Espace Pierre Cardin.

2026: Finalization of the work One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters, 7 tons. The world’s largest One Dollar sculpture created by the artist.

2025: Installation of the monumental Reflection of the Sun. Installed near the newly built Pavillon des Bains, on the Promenade Michel d’Ornano, inaugurated by Mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.

2024: Art Miami - Group exhibitions Galerie Nicolas Auvray New York. For the occasion, a 1.8 m bronze cryptogram and a 2 m One Dollar were exhibited during the event.
- 50th anniversary of the Deauville American Film Festival; for the occasion, the artist created 18 bronze trophies as well as a 2-meter sculpture to be installed at the CID. The artists interviewed about the artist and who received the trophy include: Michael Douglas, Daisy Ridley, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Mikey Madison...

2023: Aspen Saint Regis: Installation of the 2-meter One Dollar in front of the St Regis. The Aspen Times covered the event in a dedicated article.
- Rapper Rick Ross posed with a special St Regis edition One Dollar.

2022: New York: Times Square NY City, projection on the Nasdaq screen of the work “A One Dollar in the Cyberspace City.”

2021: New studio in Austin, Texas, USA.

2017: Karl Lagasse succeeds the prestigious Cartier House in creating the Deauville American Film Festival trophies.

2016: Art Fair Paris at the Grand Palais
- A two-meter-tall “One Dollar,” fully bronze, was exhibited at the Art Paris fair.
- The French president visited the exhibition and personally congratulated the artist for his work.
- First time in Spain at the Atrium gallery in Marbella, solo exhibition with new collections in the presence of the international press and the mayor of the city, Jose Bernal Gutierrez. A special performance by his wife, opera singer Cherise Lagasse, performed pieces from her repertoire.

2015: Second collaboration with Maserati with the creation of a monumental installation entitled “A Piece of Heaven on Earth.” This work consists of a Maserati wrapped in a white plastic film and a sculpture of Jesus Christ. Around the car, several dollar-bill sculptures are placed on the ground, symbolizing the repayment of humanity’s greatest debt.

2014: Maserati presents for the world premiere the Maserati Ghibli reimagined by Karl Lagasse to celebrate the brand’s 100th anniversary.

2012: Karl gifted the city of Deauville a bronze Crytogram One sculpture, permanently at the city’s entrance.
- For Cannes' 65th anniversary, Karl created a sculpture “Building” comprising a collage of photos tracing the festival’s history.
