Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, gained fame in 2009 with his One Dollar sculptures, ranking that year among the top ten sculpture artists under 30 according to Artprice. In 2012, the New York publication Farameh named him as one of the fifty best contemporary artists, inspired by traditional American icons, in its book FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, during the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl for his impressive 2-meter bronze sculpture One Dollar, exhibited at the Grand Palais.

Karl’s artistic journey began at the age of 7 with collages, encouraged by his meeting with sculptor César Baldaccini.
