Each painting is created beyond the posted dimensions to allow mounting on a stretcher without a frame. Thus, the visible sides of the stretcher are an integral part of the painting. But you can also add a frame (see photos, stretcher and frame not included).
Understanding the dimensions: they are raw. Typically 4 to 7 cm are added to each side of the canvas to allow proper stretcher mounting. The larger the canvas, the larger the margin.
