Description

Old tribal silver necklace tested, originating from the northwest of India (Rajasthan/Gujarat), 116 g. It consists of large hollow beads with a conical pendant decorated with small beads (granulation) attached to a snake chain. An old local restoration at the attachment of the main pendant where the ring was replaced by a copper ring. The "S" used as a clasp is not original.
Very beautiful artisanal silversmithing work.

Circa early 20th century.

Length 54 cm, width at clasp 6 cm, pendant height 4.3 cm.

Ancient piece but solid and that can be worn without issue.
