Bible concordance

Rare and early edition of the “Volkomene Nederlandtsche Concordantie ofte Woordtregister des Nieuwen Testaments”, printed in Groningen in 1672. This impressive 17th-century work was compiled by Abraham Trommius and ranks among the most important Dutch biblical concordances from that period. The book is printed on sturdy handmade paper and contains beautiful typography as well as a nicely engraved title plate.

A remarkable copy with visible watermarks on both the front and back leaves, which underlines the authenticity and age of the paper. In addition, this copy contains a signature of Abraham Trommius himself, which makes the book exceptionally interesting for collectors of old prints, theological works and historical manuscripts.
