Description of the work: The Square
Watercolor on paper.
This urban scene presents a square illuminated by soft light: a yellow building with a red roof rises in the background while swaying trees filter the brightness and create depth. Reduced figures in silhouette and elongated shadows convey a calm rhythm and human presence without overloading the composition. The palette blends warm tones of yellow and red with soft blues and greens, providing contrast and lightness. The technique explores loose gestures and transparent washes that reveal the fluidity of watercolor and the atmosphere of the place.
Perfect to complement the decor of a living room, entrance, or office, this work adds personality and serenity to your space.
