Silvia Montanari was born in Cattolica (Rimini) in 1989; she collaborates with critics and art galleries from Emilia-Romagna, Marche and Abruzzo who present her works internationally. Her artistic production draws on the primitive subconscious of childhood, playfulness, and fairy-tale elements, which reveal themselves in a depiction illuminated by a vibrant color palette. Through the act of painting, the artist allows us to relive beloved moments; everyday images can be perceived in a dreamlike universe. Montanari's style is based on a representational fusion of reality and imagination. A realistic precision of contours, a material solidity well grounded, and an atmosphere of projection of our unconscious. Overall, a sense of restlessness and introspection, so much so as to seek something beyond the static nature of the characters.
