“ARCHEMISIO” is a contemporary painter renowned for his hyperrealist oil-on-canvas works, where he blends photographic precision with the dramatic lighting typical of Caravaggio. Born and raised on the streets of Rome, from a young age he was fascinated by the Baroque masterpieces exhibited in the city’s churches and museums, developing a passion for the contrast between light and shadow and for the emotional intensity of the figures.

After studying at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, Archemisio traveled across Europe and the United States, refining the hyperrealist technique through the study of modern artists. However, his style stands out for its Caravaggesque heritage: his works capture meticulous details (from wrinkles of the skin to reflections on an object) yet are immersed in a theatrical and directional light, which sculpts the volumes and creates an atmosphere rich in symbolism.
