Caithness Glass paperweight from the United Kingdom, dating to 1975–1985, made of glass and handmade art glass with violet swirls forming an abstract flower and white veils, hand-signed on the base by Fleur Tookey; height 6.0 cm, diameter 7.5 cm, in excellent condition with only minor wear.

Letter weight (paperweight) - Caithness Glass, Scotland (?) – 1970s/1980s
The paperweight is an heirloom and was bought in the 1970s/1980s in the United Kingdom.
Origin & Design
Manufacturer: Caithness Glass, Scotland (?).
Model: The design closely resembles the Pixie or Moonflower series, known for their swirled, blossom-like inclusions.
Features: Handcrafted art glass. Characteristic are the purple swirls, which form an abstract flower shape inside, combined with fine white veils. Such pieces are often signed on the underside (e.g., with “Caithness Scotland” and the model name).
Designer: Fleur Tookey (*1950) - hand-signed on the base of the paperweight!
Dimensions: Height approx. 6.0 cm, diameter approx. 7.5 cm, weight 684 g
Condition: Excellent for its age – a few scratches around the pontil mark (also called punt or globule removal) on the base.
