Silvia Montanari was born in Cattolica (Rimini) in 1989, she collaborates with critics and art galleries from Emilia Romagna, Marche and Abruzzo who promote her works internationally. Her artistic production draws on the primitive unconscious of childhood, playfulness and fairy-tale elements, which reveals itself in a figuration illuminated by a vivid color palette. Through the painting process the artist allows us to relive beloved moments; one can discern everyday images in a dreamlike universe. Montanari's style is based on a representational fusion of reality and imagination. A realistic precision of contours, a solidity of matter well grounded on the ground and around it as an atmosphere projecting our unconscious. Overall, a sensation of restlessness and introspection, prompting the search for something beyond the static nature of the figures.
