Santicri - Tired face (white and gold)

Santicri has participated in numerous internationally renowned art exhibitions. Among the most significant, in 2022 he showcased his works at the prestigious Palazzo Grillo in Genoa, and in 2023 he attended the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York, thereby broadening his visibility in both national and international contexts.

The sculpture is varnished with a two-component varnish to give greater gloss and durability over time; the work features hand-decorated gold leaf inserts. Each piece has unique veins compared to others in the same edition. The artist emulates the Japanese technique of Kintsugi, born from the idea that from imperfection and a wound a form of greater aesthetic and inner perfection can arise, evoking the symbol of resilience. Born in 1992 in Macerata, Marche, the Italian artist pursued a path that, through studies in surveying and architecture, led him to collaborate with a craftsman making resin sculptures. There, the growing need to find himself and unleash his creativity emerged. His works are sold worldwide, collaborating with galleries in Italy and Europe.
