Claudio Patriarca - Rock Hudson

This is an interesting large vintage photograph, 29.6 x 23.5 cm, of the very famous actor Rock Hudson, pictured during the filming of the movie "Il Vespaio" (The Hornet's Nest), dated indeed 1969. In the photo we see Rock Hudson, in the film an American pilot whose airplane was shot down in World War II in Italy, with actress Sylvia Koscina, in the film an Italian doctor who saves his life... The photo was taken by Claudio Patriarca, a superb on-set photographer for Pierluigi Praturlon's agency; to everyone, he is known as "Pierluigi" and was perhaps the most famous among Italian photographers of the Dolce Vita, especially for portraits, even off the set, and for photos taken during the actual filming of various movies, and he was, in this respect, among the best in the world. This is a genuine vintage photograph, duly stamped by Patriarca himself and by Pierluigi on the back. Excellent overall condition, with slight corner defects."
